Anything can be used in a positive or negative way.
My opinion is that science technology is still “young” and will make many mistakes along the way. Every new discovery will motivate us to find better solution for each issue.
So one thing is certain: “Things will likely get worse before they get better”.

One one hand it would mean such a huge step forward in secure, super high speed data transmissions but on the other I’ve read that the same power of utilizing superposition could be used to make a super computer so powerfully fast that it could render all of todays encryption obsolete the moment it becomes available. Being able to break through the defenses of todays best, in use, encryption with ease. So existing banks and other financial and government institutions would be vulnerable day one. Scary thought. Just like the nuclear secrets, this is one that should be protected at all cost until the ramifications can be measured and protected. Very exciting times we live in. I can’t wait to read the next bleeding edge breakthrough, speed record, low cost energy solution, etc…
